A fairly realistic phishing email that purports to come from Intuit is circulating. We’ve been trapping these messages and thought you should be aware of this latest attack. This email imitates the type of email you might expect to receive after ordering from Intuit. However, it is not from them and the links in the message of the email are dangerous to click on.
Tip: do not clicks on emails like this. Hover over the links and see where they take you. In this case, it’s clear to see the destination is a domain that is not Intuit’s. Better yet, always scan and remove messages like this, before they ever hit your inbox. That’s the only fully effective way to fight phishing and spam.
