Ahhh.. It’s Monday morning!

You know what that means - it’s time to get back to the office and start sorting through all of the Email that was sent to you since you left the office last week.

While I was sorting through my own Email I couldn’t help but notice another hoax Email with the title “The Police Investigation Is Under Way Now. You’ll Be Really Sorry About What You Have Done.”

Watch Out For This Email!

The short text of the malicious Email reads:

Hello there heather

Why did you try to break into my FB??? This is the reply from FB support in attachment they idendified you as an attacker who tried to steal my password!

Do you know that this is crime actually??

Obviously, the sender is attempting to coax you into clicking on an infected .zip file attachment by telling you that the ‘reply from FB support’ is contained therein.

If you get this message, be sure not to click on the file and delete this message from you inbox immediately to avoid any complications that could arise because of it and be assured that there really isn’t a police investigation under way, either.
