‘Confirm Your Twitter Account’ Email Alert
Attention all Twitter users!
If you received an Email asking you to ‘Confirm Your Twitter Account’ don’t fall for it! This fraudulent message is one of many phishing attempts currently in circulation on the Internet.
This message keeps things short and sweet – but provides 4 bad links in the full text that reads:
Hi, *nameremoved*.
Please confirm your Twitter account by clicking this link: Please click here.
Once you confirm, you will have full access to Twitter and all future notifications will be sent to this email address.

If you received this message in error and did not sign up for a Twitter account, click not my account.
Please do not reply to this message; it was sent from an unmonitored email address. This message is a service email related to your use of Twitter. For general inquiries or to request support with your Twitter account, please visit us at Twitter Support.
If you happened to get this message, be sure to delete it from your inbox immediately and avoid clicking on any of the links provided in the mail, as they could cause a computer infection or to access personal information stored on your computer.
Other fraudulent Email to be on the lookout include messages that purport to be sent from DHL, USPS and Amazon that were sent out in recent days.
