Using an “all-in-one” website builder is a solution for anyone that wants to design a great looking site without the need for a web designer or an expensive web design program.

All-In-One Website Designers Save Time And Money!

All In One Website Builder Is Great For All!

By using this type of software to create your website, you don’t have to spend a lot of time and money to learn complicated website coding or enroll in an expensive web design class. All you need to do is delve into the software program and get to work adding web pages, social sharing tools, images, text, video and whatever other type of media you’d like to present to your website visitors. Drag and drop modules allow you to add other functionality such as a Web 2.0 style image gallery, commenting functions, advertising modules, an online shopping widget, a blog and many other functionality features.

Clean HTML Code Is Essential!

Since this software provides clean HTML code by default, you don’t have to worry about coding errors that have to be de-bugged later. If you’ve spent any time researching just how troublesome messy web coding can be, you’ll find that this is one thing that can cause problems for even the most helpful websites out there today. By offering clean code to your visitors and search engines you can keep your website free of webmaster errors that might cause accessibility issues.

WYSIWYG Editor Makes Website Changes Simple!

Another benefit of using an all in one website creator is the WYSIWYG editor. Using a WYSIWYG editor you can quickly change the appearance, layout and content on your web pages without having to set up an FTP account to transmit your changes. In the age of cloud computing, FTP has become outdated and an unnecessary step to publishing and updating your website.

Be Proud Of What You’ve Created!

If you like to do things yourself, you’ll be amazed at how many compliments you’ll get on a website that you created yourself. Whether it’s for your hair salon, diner, fitness club, taxi service, legal practice, healthcare practice or even just for a hobby, this is a smart way to build a strong online web presence in a relatively short period of time. To learn more about one such all in one website building tool, please visit Web Presence Builder and get started today!

Lately more people are wondering, just what is a cloud-based phone system? Let’s start with the basics. Cloud-based phone systems, also known as virtual phone or hosted PBX, offer users a number of advantages over traditional PBX alternatives. In the old days, people would purchase equipment that would be placed at their premises to handle call routing. This equipment was expensive and very complex to operate. Most companies who employed their own PBX system also had to hire a maintenance company just to keep things running smoothly. Now all of this same administrative work can accomplished by the administrator using a control panel. You set rules for routing and the cloud-based PBX system does the rest. If you ever need to update a setting, you can log in and do so easily.

Your Mobile Workforce Has Never Been So Connected

A virtual phone system setup is perfect for companies with a mobile workforce. Many mobile workers are using their cell phones to handle work-related calls. Your hosted PBX system can dial the cell phone directly, simply by the customer dialing a virtual extension. At MostHost, our solution allows you to set up a ‘group’ of multiple users. Once you’ve set this group up, you can choose whether phone calls are handled sequentially or simultaneously. This configuration is perfect for companies that have multiple agents that can handle an incoming call. If all of the extensions don’t answer, you can set additional options. For instance, you can let the call roll to a voice mail based on extension, or you can forward the call to another number. The flexibility and the power are enough to help any organization vastly improve communications with clients.

A Cloud Receptionist Can Help Your Business Grow

Improved communications with clients lead to higher revenues. If you’re missing calls, your potential customer will simply move on to greener pastures. With a cloud-based phone system, this unfortunate system can be eliminated forever. Not only that, but this system will also give you many of the bells and whistles you might associate with higher-priced alternatives. This includes “music on hold” and vanity phone numbers.

If you do business in more than one geographic area, you can add local extensions for only $2.50 month! This means clients in that area will be able to dial a local phone number and get in touch with you. This helps build their confidence about doing business with you, which results in higher revenues. The point is, the power is in your hands. You get to add more numbers if you need them and you’re in control of your phone service. If you need to leave the office for a bit, you can set your extension to DND (do not disturb) and whatever rules you set will automatically be enforced. This is great because it means your mobile workforce can update their own statuses, without you getting involved.

You can also configure your cloud phone system to perform different functions based on your schedule. A different menu can be programmed for After Hours and Business Hours. You merely program in your normal hours, set the extension options for the menu, and the system does the rest.

If you haven’t learned about a hosted PBX system yet, click here to learn all the features. You might be surprised at how much a system like this can help your business.

An outbreak of a fraudulent Email that purports to be sent on behalf of DHL is still hitting both individual and corporate inboxes pretty badly.

All My DHL Spam Emails

In the last four days, I’ve received at least 9 of these messages in an unfiltered Email box, so I’m pretty confident that this malicious Email has been making appearances in lots of other unfiltered inboxes as well.

As you can see in the provided image, there’s been a steady stream of these fraudulent messages being delivered in the last 48 hours or so, but they all started earlier this month.

This Email doesn’t mince words and uses the subject line “DHL Package delivery status” or a variation of this. The sender is reportedly ‘status@dhl.com‘

The entire text of the message reads:

Dear *name removed*,

with this message we notify you that shipment at your address, tracking ID #76055111, has FAILED due to an address discrepancy. To obtain your package please print out the attached form and contact DHL US support

Feel free to contact us with further questions.

If you would like to speak to a DHL Express Support Agent, please call the DHL Service Desk at 1-800-527-7298.

If you listen to the ‘instructions’ of the sender, you’re supposed to print off the attached .zip file – forcing you to click – in order to ‘obtain’ your package. In reality, clicking on this file will help the tricksters ‘obtain’ access to information stored on your computer or cause a computer virus, so be sure to immediately delete this message if you find it awaiting you.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope this post helped you avoid any computer issues by alerting you to this ploy. Since this appears to be a heavy campaign aimed at Email users on all levels, I ask that you kindly share this with your friends and family at your favorite social network so they can avoid clicking on this message at all costs.

Thanks for helping to spread the word and have a spectacular Wednesday!

The Difference Between Spam Blockers Filters Explained

If you’re getting a lot of spam, you should look into spam filters and how they can help your business. This overview should explain everything you need to know about anti-spam filters so you can reduce the threats represented by spam before it hits your network.

A common way to combat junk email or spam is through the consistent use of spam filters. Spam filtering is a method that eliminates unwanted emails before they reach your inbox.

The type of spam filtering differs based on the needs of the organization. Some anti-spam filters will eliminated spams based on subject matter. If a word like ‘free’ or ‘guranteed’ is in the subject line, the email may be quarantined. The disadvantage of using a method like this should be obvious. If the rules are too Draconian, legitimate email will be lost. Most filtering software will take this into account and allow you to review all messages that have been filtered. If you find that important messages are missing, you can easily restore them and loosen up the filtering options.

Spam filters remain popular because they can do a lot of the heavy lifting associated with removing bad emails. The sensitivity of the spam filters can be adjusted, giving the user a lot of control over what gets removed. Spam filtering can also be done based on attachments, data types, ‘bad words,’ and a whole lot more. Truly comprehensive solutions combine the best of multiple scanning concepts in order to offer a robust filtering solution to keep email safe.

Setting up spam filters is generally very easy. You can keep adding filtering rules until you achieve exactly what you want. If you overshoot, you can pull back and revise your filtering rules until they’re absolutely perfect.

‘Smarter’ spam filters have been in style for awhile now, and will continue to become more popular. They’re a bit tougher to setup initially, but they offer powerful spam filtering which can benefit most organizations.

New generations of spam filtering goes even further than traditional means, relying on statistical features of spam. These types of filters scan and analyze the entire email before making a decision on whether the email is spam or not. They compare the new email against a database of known spam emails and can match up whether the message is spam or not. This type of method generally pushes spam detection rates to 99% of higher. This type of filtering is very effective, even against phishing attempts.

Bayesian Filter Used To Fight Against Spammers

Advertising has changed drastically in the last four decades. The way people communicate has also changed during the same timeframe. There are numerous new communications options available, and along with this explosion of new technology a new wave of unsolicited messages has also arrived. Automation works just as well for the ‘bad guys’ as it does for everyone else. Therefore it’s not particularly surprising that so much automated spam is being sent daily. The messages still turn a profit, which is motive enough for many to engage in the practice.

Numerous techniques have been aimed at stopping spam over the years, including blacklisted domains, banned IPs, words in the subject line and many, many more. Spammers have always worked just as hard to adapt to these changes so they can continue to bombard email messages to everyone’s inbox.

Spammers might be able to easily change IP addresses and domain names, but it’s a bit tougher for them to change the content of their messages. That’s where their money is made, by pushing offers to unsuspecting people. If the content was to change too much, the commercial intent might be lost in the translation. For this reason, spam filters which focus on message content are generally the most effective.

“Phishing emails” are a huge vector of threat, and content-based filtering attempts to eliminate these emails totally. Many times phishing emails purport to be from companies like PayPal or organizations like the USPS. They generally have dire sounding titles like “Attention Required,” “Last Warning.” or something similar. They prey on the fears of the recipient, warning them of a dire consequence for not responding.

Once the victim opens the attachment or clicks on the link in the email, they’re sent to a website that resembles the one that’s being spoofed. They’re asked to give up more information, such as their account information or password. If they do, they’ve just give control of extremely important information to a criminal enterprise.

The key benefit of a Bayesian filter is that it helps use content to determine whether a message is spam or not. When combined with a Black List of spammers as well as a White list of trusted emails ids, is an extremely effective spam countermeasure. The most interesting fact is that Spam Filter with Bayesian algorithm is a self learning filter. The more you use, the more secure you shall be within a matter of few days.

Spam Filters For Outlook express

The spam filter integrate easily with popular emails clients such MS outlook and Outlook Express. With due course, up to 98% of the spam mails can be stopped from entering your Inbox.

The Spam Filter for Outlook Express and Spam Filter for Microsoft Outlook, with the features of White List/Black List and properly used Bayesian Algorithm will help prevent spam mails, phishing mails and fraud mails from bothering you further.

There has been a considerable increase in the spam mails containing Non English Characters also. The Bayesian Algorithm based Spam Filter also must have the capability to parse non English characters and mark as spam mail.

To get rid of a continuous stream of spam mails, phishing mails, fraud emails and Non-English email, you should probably consider a cloud-based filtering system that can eliminate threads before they ever reach your inbox.

At MostHost, our solution combines numerous spam filtering techniques into one cohesive program that has the capability to seamlessly integrate with MS Outlook and Outlook Express and provides the following features:

•Custom Black List

•Individual Marking of Spam/Not Spam Emails

That’s right, you forget about the golden metal box that is worth almost $5.5 million dollars! It arrived ‘sometime ago’ at O’Hare from mysterious Britain and has been sitting their unclaimed ever since. All you have to do is pay the $10 a day storage fee and the valuable golden metal box will be yours for the keeping! Wow, it must be your lucky day!

Needless to say, you aren’t the only one who got this email. Your chance of actually receiving a box worth over $5 million by paying the storage fees is on par with the chance you’ll be killed by a meteor today. Actually, the chances of dying in a meteor storm are probably higher.

Make sure you delete this thing and report the email to AOL.

Protip: there’s no such thing as a free lunch or a $5 million forgotten golden box.
